SUMMARY: The Turkish king, who was standing atop his apartment and was seeing the stately charming, tall Sri Madhwacharyaru, whose physique was so strong and stoic that no deity or demon could shake, said the following words.

The Turkish king was standing on the roof of his royal apartment and watching everythin that was going on on the banks of Ganga between his soldiers and Sri Madhwacharyaru. He was very much surprised by the way Sri Madhwacharyaru crossed the river and spoke in the dialect to his soldiers.

The word “Sihmasahmanana” is used to indicate a person whose body is extraordinary and features too are exemplary.

SUMMARY: “Oh Great person with a smiling countenance! How could you not be tortured or tormented by my guards, who are most unkind like the servants of Lord Yama and are very keen on torturing anyone entering the city as they suspect everyone to be the spies from the enemy’s side?”

The Turkish king was surprised by the fearlessness of Sri Madhwaru. The king had instructed his soldiers and security forces to be merciless towards intruders. The merciless guards could do nothing, even as Sri Madhwaru crossed not only the gushing waters of Ganga, along with his pupils, but also the barricade of security forces on the river banks.

SUMMARY: “Oh Lord! How did you cross this Ganga River without any boat? What do you want to do next?” the king enquired, and Sri Madhwacharyaru, the ardent servant of Lord Sri Hari, replied thus.

Since the reply of Sri Madhwaru needs greater elaboration, the stanza No. 17 will be interpreted in the next episode.
