SUMMARY: Kind-hearted Sri Madhwacharyaru, leading all his pupils as the guardian-in-chief, kept his words by making his pupils cross the Ganga with ease, like as though they were crossing the ocean of family/worldly life.

Sri Madhwacharyaru asked his pupils to stand one-behind the other, each touching the one in front by hand and pupil immediately behind him was to hold the loin cloth he was wearing and walked across the river.

Symbolically, Sri Madhwaru, an incarnation of Lord Vayu, removes the common obstacles like lust, anger etc. that deter the journey towards salvation/Moksha.

SUMMARY: “Stop them from the enemy side! Stop them! Kill them before they reach this side of the river! Kill them! Kill them!”, the Turkish King was yelling at his soldiers and was rushing briskly towards Sri Madhwacharya and his pupils, when, Sri Madhwaru replied to the advancing soldiers in their native Turkish tongue.

As it is common in the legal parlour to respond to the defence witnesses in their native tongue, Sri Madhwaru spoke to the Turkish attackers in their mother tongue so that could first realize that those crossing river were not from the enemy side and secondly, they immediately abstained from any untoward or unpleasant action.

Word “Marayata, Marayata” employed in this stanza is synonymous of “MAro” in Turkish language.
