SUMMARY: The group of Brahmins, which, due to their
curiosity, asked thousands of questions. It was like a well; the words of this
Lord Sri Vedavyasaru, who is the Lord of Vedas, are a river; this river has
instantaneously filled to the brim the well of questions asked by the Brahmins.
When a river is in spate, thousands of wells on the
banks get filled instantaneously. The Brahmins asked thousands of questions at
a time. Sri Vedavyasaru, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, replied to all those
questions, instantaneously. That is symbolic of the power of knowledge of Sri
Vedavyasaru, which shows that he is omniscient.
The word “Saraswati” means River Saraswati as well as
voice.

SUMMARY: It appears like the basil that is shining
near the ears of this great Sri Vedavyasaru, tells “Oh Lord, ensure that the
lotus and other flowers shall not occupy this position due to jealousy”
All the Vaishnava Brahmins should invariably wear the
basil in the ears. Any number and type of flowers that are offered to the Lord
are not equal to Basil. It is mandatory to offer Basil to the Lord as part of
the worship or puja.
