Stanza 6/ಆರನೇ ಶ್ಲೋಕ

ಪಂಪಾತೀರಂ ಸ ಗಚ್ಛನ್ನಿಹ ಕೃತವಸತಿರ್ಭಕ್ತಿತುಷ್ಟಃ ಶಬರ್ಯೈ

ದತ್ವಾ ಮುಕ್ತಿಂ ಪ್ರಕುರ್ವನ್ ಹನುಮತ ಉದಿತಂ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಸುಗ್ರೀವಸಖ್ಯಃ|

ಸಪ್ತ ಛಿತ್ವಾ(s)ಥ ತಾಲಾನ್ವಿಧಿವರಬಲಿನೋ ವಾಲಿಭಿತ್ಸೂರ್ಯಸೂನುಂ

ಕುರ್ವಾಣೋ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲಂ ಸಮವತು ನಿವಸನ್ಮಾಲ್ಯವತ್ಕಂದರೇ(s)ಸೌ||6||

SUMMARY: As this Rama was going towards the banks of pond Pampa, he was highly impressed and pleased with the devotion of his devotee Shabari, who was living there, and presented her with salvation; honoring and adhering to the words of Hanumanta, he established friendship with Sugreeva; later, he cut the seven palmyra(palm) Trees, which had been empowered with a boon from Lord Brahma of not getting cut or pruned, killed Vali, installed son of Sun Sugreeva on the throne of Kishkindha; may Lord stay in Mount Kandara and protect this world from all sorts of problem.
