This is a secret, which is seldom revealed by scholarly people.

Anyone worshipping the knowledgeable (Jnanis) every day with this awareness will be securing the benefits of worshipping deserving couples every day; this is true and there is no doubt about this.

This has been mentioned in Aitareyasamhitaavachana) – AitareyaBhaShya:

SUMMARY: Brahma and other deities, who represent twenty-four Tatwas or principal principles and their favoring deities, stay in each and every pulse, every day. Guarding the groups of beings living in the fourteen Lokas or worlds, looking at the Eternal Lord Sri Hari in each of those places, they lead a happy life.

SUMMARY: Sri Hari, who is Satyasankalpa or the Lord whose life breath is Truthfulness, is existing eternally in all the seventy-two thousand pulses in as many forms, along with seventy-two lakh fifty-six thousand forms of Ramadevi. Being the eternity eternally and the most pleasant looking Lord, he gets captivated by the devotion of his devotees and protects them in all ways and directions.

Since Sri Hari is present in the twenty-four principal principles or Tattwas or theological principles by wearing twenty-four forms such as Keshava and others, the total number of his masculine form is 17,28,000 (72,000 x 24) and he has same number of female forms. Hence, the total number of his forms is 34, 56,000. Since Mahalakshmi is inseparable from him and is invariably present with all the forms of the Lord, the number of forms that exist in the pulses is same i.e. 34, 56,000.

This has been explained or mentioned in the chapter on Vishnurahasya in Bhagavata:

“NADeegatO HarirgEyO janairiha vishAmpatE|

“नाडीगतॊ हरिर्गॆयॊ जनैरिह विशांपतॆ।
