SUMMARY: An embodiment of six
great virtues, including Jnana or knowledge, began elucidating the stories of
Lord Sri Krishna, who resolves the riddle of family or worldly life, while his
distinguished disciple Sri Hrusheekesha Tirtha, who possessed extraordinary
virtues of reserved nature, pleasing and attractive narrative style and others,
was rendering in a melodious voice the Bhagavata Purana.
What is symbolically stated in
this stanza is that Sri Hrusheekesha Tirtharu was rendering the Tenth Canto
(Dashama Skanda) of Bhagavata, and Sri Madhwacharyaru was explaining it.
The word “NijashiShyapravara”
refers to Sri HrusheekEsha Tirtharu — NijashiShyapravarENa HrusheekEshatirthEna
(Bhava Prakashika) as Sri HrusheekEsha Tirtharu is said to be the first person
to have become a saint among the eight saints who were given charge of the
Eight Mutts installed by Sri Madhwaru for the propagation of Dwaita Siddhanta.
