SUMMARY: (90) Within these two Sections (Koshas), both inside and outside, Sankarshana gets to be named as Manomaya, a form that fully covers the mind, by assuming five lakh sixty-two thousand one hundred and seven forms; being free from any sort of defects, he is known as Vasudeva and gets to be the manifestation of science by appearing in four thousand three hundred and seventy four forms and he encompasses all the in-charge deities related to this knowledge. Known as Purusha, this Sri Hari flows as Viraja River that contains waters of knowledge (Svedajala) that bestows welfare and he appears in the form of Great Mother Mahalakshmi, who breaks the physical forms of those possessing BrahmAparOkShajnAna or the AprarOksha Jnana of Brahma, a branch of knowledge that pervades the known/seen and unknown/unseen worlds.
SUMMARY: (91) Viraja River in Vaikuntha is in the form of Sri Lakshmi, which originated from the sweat of Sri Hari. As Sri Hari is untouched by defects (Nirdosha or Dosharahita), the drops of his sweat are also holy, sacred and pleasant.
These are very subtle analyses of the forms of Sri Hari that prove that Sri Hari is Omnipresent, beyond imagination, explanation or description. Nothing can happen or act without His direction and how he performs these infinite actions is simply inexplicable. Sri Jagannatha Dasaru in this magnum opus, chef d'oeuvre or disambiguation, tries to emphasise this trait of Sri Hari in several ways.

SUMMARY: May this Triveni, union of three sacred rivers, who is like scissors that cut the heritage of sins and the provider of salvation or Moksha, eradicate my sins like the Sun evaporates the mist!
While having bath every morning, there is a tradition of reciting “TeertharAjAya namaha” where “TeerTharAja” refers to Prayaga or Triveni.
In one of the hymns in Rig Veda, it is stated:
“SitAsitE saritE yatra sangatE tatrAplutAsO divamutpatanti”
Anyone having bath in the Triveni Sangam or the union of three holy rivers of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati will secure heavens as well as salvation.
The greatness of Triveni finds citations in Padmapurana, Vanaparva in Mahabharata, Matsya Purana, Kurma Purana, Agni Purana, Garuda Purana, PrayamAhAtmya, ShatAdhyAyi and several other holy scriptures.

The above hymn is an excerpt from Padma Purana, which means:
The sacred place where Saraswati, Yamuna and Ganga join together, where the devotees leading a life that is restricted by knowledge and strict traditional practices will be carried on the path of Brahmapada after taking a dip in that spot, where the sacred Banyan Tree (Ficus Indica) spreads its shadow and bestows upon those coming under that shadow with pure traits (Satva Guna), where Sri Prayaga Madhava clears the sins and pains of those taking his Darshan, is supreme of the highest order.
Like the Sun is supreme among planets, moon among stars, Teertha Prayaga is supreme among all Teertha Kshetras or holy places. At the time of Great Deluge “Pralay”, Lord Vishnu lies on the leaf of this very Banyan Tree and therefore Darshan of Sri Madhava in this place destroys the sins, including the Capital Sin called Brahmahatya. Having bath in Prayag during Magha Maas (January-February) is most beneficial. The Scriptures describe the Seven Grand Cities, including Ayodhya, as the queens of the King of Cities called Prayaga and that is why Prayaga is known as TeertharAja. The Puranas divide Prayaga into three major parts. The middle of this is considered to be the union of Ganga and Yamuna, which is called as GArhaptnyAgni; the opposite banks of Ganga is known as AahavaneeyAgni and the banks of Yamuna is known as Dakshinagni. Spending a night in each of these three places is as sacred as offering worship to three types of Fire.
During Magha Maas every year, annual festival is held. Once in every twelve years, Jupiter enters the house of Taurus (Spring – April-May) and the Sun enters Capricorn (Autumn, Winter – December-January) Kumbhamela occurs in Prayaga  and once in every six years “Ardhakumbh” (Quasi Kumbh) is held. Historically, it is said that Emperor Harshavardhana used to organize Dharmasabha (Religious Conference) during these festivals and donate everything.
Prayaga is well connected by surface transport.
Another stanza on Prayaga by Sri Vadirajaru will be explained in the next episode.

SRI RAGHAVENDRA SWAMY’S SRI RAMACHARITRYA MANJARI (ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೆಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿರಚಿತ “ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಚಾರಿತ್ರ್ಯ ಮಂಜರಿ”)

SRI RAGHAVENDRA SWAMY’S
SRI RAMACHARITRYA MANJARI
(ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೆಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿರಚಿತ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಚಾರಿತ್ರ್ಯ ಮಂಜರಿ)
First sight of Seetha Devi/ಸೀತಾದೇವಿಯ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಶನ
Lord Hanumantha saluted Seetha Devi and Srirama in his heart and mind before entering Ashokavana, where all types fruits and flowers throughout the year and through all the four seasons. The entire garden was draped in red color of the Ashoka flowers. A river that gushes out from the tip of Mount Trikoota, flows through the middle of Ashoka forests. The air blows pleasantly at a very pleasing speed across Ashokavana. Hanumantha noticed a sprawling Ashoka tree in that Ashokavana under which he finally saw Seetha Devi. Hanumantha climbed that Ashoka tree and slowly moved on to a branch of that tree under which Seetha Devi was sitting. Hanumantha knew that the woman sitting under the Ashoka tree was not Seetha Devi but Vedavati in the guise of Seetha Devi. Vedavati was pretending to be unhappy. Although pure within, she was projecting herself to be dust-covered and forlorn. Hanumantha started comparing the physical features of the woman sitting under the Ashoka tree with the features of Seetha Devi mentioned by Srirama. In reality, Seetha Devi had been replaced by Vedavati just before Ravana arrived at the Ashram to abduct Seetha Devi. Hanumantha pondered over all these aspects and hid himself in a bush of leaves of that branch under which Vedavati was sitting in the guise of Seetha Devi. The female demons, who had been assigned the duty of keeping a vigil on Seetha Devi, surrounded her and were forcing Seetha Devi to forget Srirama and accept Ravana as her husband. Those female demons were awkwardly shaped, ugly looking and their structures were abnormal.
Hanumantha was still waiting on the tree and planning his next move.

SUMMARY 1: In his incarnation of Srirama, who was being constantly seen by his father Dasharatha as was unable to bear the nostalgia in the event of Srirama being separated from him, was taken to the forest by Sage Vishwamitra, who was in the grip of a strong fear  about Mareecha and other wicked demons, killed TaTaka, a female demon, there (in the forest).
SUMMARY 2: Being seen time and again by his father Vasudeva, who was unable to bear the nostalgia that might grip him in the event of departure of Sri Krishna from his sight, was afraid of wicked people and was indulging in continuous penance, Sri Krishna, killed female demon TATaka

While reading this stanza as being in praise of Srirama Avatar, the word “TapaswinA|” should be conceived as an adjective meaning Tapaswi Vishwamitra because Vishwamitra was always doing penance; With reference to theincarnation of Sri Krishna, the word “Tapaswina” (ತಪಸ್ವಿನಾ), should be apprehended as “from his father Vasudeva”.
Female demonTaTaka who appeared during Tretayuga was born again during Dwaparayuga as PutaNi. It is also said that in Putani, there was some influence of Urvashi in her exposure.

SUMMARY: Oh Kalindi, Yamuna River! You will not allow the virtuous, even if they happen to be sinners, to go to the abode of your brother Yama, God of Death, without relieving them off their sins or the negative energy; you will, instead, affectionately make such people live in the Shwetadweepa (white island) lying in the cosmic ocean of milk, which is the residence of Sri Narayana. It is a popular fact that when a person shows deep love towards his wife, she will start showing more interest in his relatives and in his welfare. It means that whoever is devoted to Kalindi will have no need to worry about going to hell after death because, King of Oceans is the husband of Kalindi, which is also the abode of Narayana. It is quite appropriate too. It is because Sri Narayana invariably bestows his choicest blessings upon his devotees and naturally Yamuna carries or directs her devotees towards her husband, the king of Oceans, where Narayana rests.
Yamuna River originates atop a Himalayan tower at about 10,000 feet above sea-level and flows for hundreds of miles before joining Ganga at Prayag. The tower in which Yamuna originates is known as Mount Kalinda and therefore she is called as Kalindi. She is also known as Kalindatanaya. At the place of her origin, the water is so cold that it is not possible to have bath there. However, there are some hot pits near the origin of Yamuna. Travellers and pilgrims put some grains in a cloth and immerse them in these hot pits. By the time they see the origin of Yamuna and return the grains would be baked. Yamunotri can be reached by foot for a distance of about 97 km from Dehra Dun. She is the daughter of Sun and sister of Yama.
