             ಸಾರಗುಡದೊಳಗೈದು ಸಾವಿರ
             ನೂರುವಂದು ಸುರೂಪ ದ್ವಿಸಹ-
             ಸ್ರಾರೆರಡು ಶತಪಂಚವಿಂಶತಿರೂಪ ಫಲಗಳಲಿ||5||

                SUMMARY: The number of juice forms in milk is three hundred and fifty-four; in ghee, their number is             twenty-nine; the number of forms in jaggery is five thousand one hundred and one and in fruits, the number is             eight hundred and twenty-five.
                ChAruGhruta means ghee prepared from cow’s milk in a perfect, spiritually acceptable manner. SAraguDa is             the concerntrate drawn from sugarcane juice, which is Jaggery.

             ಶ್ವಸನತತ್ತ್ವೇಶರೊಳಗಿದ್ದೀ
             ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದಲಿ ಕರೆಸುವನು ಧೇ-
             ನಿಸಿದರೀ ಪರಿ ಮನಕೆ ಪೊಳೆವನು ಬಲ್ಲ ವಿಬುಧರಿಗೆ||6||

                SUMMARY: In the four juices namely Vishada, SThira, TeekShNa and Nirhara, there are a total of eight             thousand three hundred and nine forms, which should be thought of while consuming the meals. Sri Hari             exists in Lord Vayu and other designated deities and gets called by these names. If the knowledgeable people             think on these lines, he will symbolically appear in their minds.
                The total number of forms of Sri Hari in the four names cited in this stanza is eight thousand three hundred             and nine (354 + 29 + 5101 + 2825 = 8309).

SUMMARY: I always wish to take shelter in the holiest abode where Pundareeka Muni lived as it is located on the banks of Bheemarathi River of purest water, where the breeze that blows every now and then not only steals the fatigue caused by heat but also eradicates the negative energy of sins.
Pandharapura is one of most popular pilgrim centres in Maharashtra State. Several saints, saint-composers and ascetics have been born in this State and a majority of them have worshipped Lord Pundareeka or Sri Pandharinatha Vitthala, the presiding deity of this place. A large number of devotees throng the place on Shayani Yekadashi or Prathama Yekadashi which occurs in Ashdha Masa and Devotthana Yekadashi that occurs in Karteeka Masa Shukla Paksha in Hindu calendar. Pundareeka is said to have established the place. Sant Tukaram, Namadev, Rankabanka, Narahari and several other popular saints lived in this place. Sri Purandaradasa, the doyen of Carnatik Music, was a great devotee of Sri Vitthala of Pandharapura. Bheema River flows in Pandharapura and this river is also known as Chandrabhaga and Bheemarathi.
Pandharapur is about 33 miles away from Kurdunadi Railway Station on the Mumbai-Pune-Raichur track.
History:
Pundareeka, a saint and devotee of Sri Vitthala, had great reverence for his parents. One day, Lord Krishna, who was highly impressed with the love and affection that Pundareeka had for his parents, came to his house to give Darshan to his devotee. Pundareeka just kept a brick in front of the Lord and asked him to stand on it and wait. Pundareeka then was involved in attending his parents. Thinking that the Lord had come to see him due to his reverence for parents, Pundareeka was deeply involved in serving his parents and did not pay any attention to the Lord. Later, Pundareeka turned towards the Lord, who asked him to seek a boon. Pundareeka wished that the Lord stayed there in the same form and standing posture he had shown up himself there. The Lord agreed and since then he has been standing there and blessing the devotees. As per a popular saying — VidA jnAnEna ThAn shUnyAn lAti gruhNAti ViTThalaha — the Lord accepts and acknowledges the salutations offered by even the dullest devotees and blesses them without any bias or hesitation, Sri Vitthala in Pandharapura has been blessing the devotees. Sri Vitthala in Pandharapura is known as Nadabrahma, the origin of music and sound. Therefore, incessant Bhajans are a routine feature of this place. One of the sixteen pillars of a Mantap here has been 
named after Sri Purandaradasaru. Even to this day, devotees first embrace this pillar and then join the Bhajans.

After the departure of Sampati, all the monkeys began announcing their individual capacity to fly, while Hanuman was sitting alone, separately. He was praying in praise of Srirama, when Jambavanta approached him. Jambavanta was aware of the capacity of Hanumantha, which was incomparable. Jambavanta says that even celestial Golden Eagle, the vehicle of Sri Hari, could not match Hanumantha in flying capacity. Jambavanta appealed and motivated Hanumantha to take up the task of crossing the 100-Yojana sea. Hanumantha then agrees to cross the sea, see Seetha Devi and return, successfully.
It was like Hanumantha performing a holy sacrifice with demons as the beasts to be sacrificed. The adventure of Hanumantha was the fire and the benefit he wanted to acquire was the grace of Lord Hari. He saluted Srirama, rook his permission and blessings to fly, climbed the highest peak and got ready to fly.

ನರಸಿಂಹ ಏಷ ವಿದದಾರ ದಾರುಣಂ ಪ್ರತಿಘೋದಯೇ ನಖರಚಕ್ರತೇಜಸಾ|
ಸ್ವರಿಪುಂ ಕ್ಷಣೇನ ಸರಸಃ ಸ್ಫುರತ್ತನುಂ ಪೃಥುಸತ್ತ್ವಮಿಷ್ಟಜನಭೀತಿಭಂಜನಃ||16||

SUMMARY: This Narayana, who drives away the fear in human beings, appeared in the form of a Lion wearing a fearsome, angry and cruel face, a body shining with radiation of the disc/wheel and very strong, with which he cut the body of Hiranyakashipu, in a moment.
In this stanza, two incarnations of Sri Narayana find mention. The first one is that of Sri Narasihma in which Sri Narayana protected Prahlada by killing Hiranyakashipu, a very strong king and father of Prahlada. The second Avtar referred in this stanza is that of a Tapasa, a person incessantly doing penance. In Sanskrit, Tapas means penance. This relates to the form in which Lord Hari relieves a king tusker.
Sri Narasihma incarnation is also known as Purushottama. For Narasihma form, the reading should be:Narasihmaha, pratiGhOdayE naKharachakratEjasA and for Tapasa form, it should be read as Narasihmaha, pratiGhOdayEna naKharachakratEjasA.
The form in which Lord Hari bestows salvation of tusker king is known as Tapasa form or incarnation:

     79.       ವಾರಿವಾಚ್ಯನು ವಾರಿಯೊಳಗಿ-
                     ರ್ದಾರು ರಸವೆಂದೆನಿಸಿ ಮೂವ-
                     ತ್ತಾರುಸಾವಿರ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಪುರುಷನಾಡಿಯೊಳು ತದ್ರೂಪ|
                     ಧಾರಕನು ತಾನಾಗಿ ಸರ್ವಶ-

    SUMMARY: Sri Hari, who is addressed with the word “Vari”, which in Sanskrit means ‘water’, lives in water, transforms into six types of juices, wears thirty-six thousand types of female pulses and thirty-six thousand types of male pulses; by doing so, he stays within all the physical forms day and night in the name of Bruhatee and roams about.
    In numerology, the alphabets are assigned numbers and used in code language. The Sanskrit alphabets are divided into KAdinava, TAdinava, PAdipanchaha and YAdiaShTaha. The word VAri, which means water, signifies six because VA is the fourth letter in YAdiaShTaha and Ri is the second letter in the same group. Therefore 4+2=6, which symbolically means that there are six types of tastes or juices in water namely sweet, bitter, sour, salt, hot and pungent.
    In Bruhatee Chandas, there are thirty-six letters of which thirty-six are vowels and thirty-six consonants. The forms of vowels are considered as male forms and Aharniyamaka or deciders of daytime; the consonants are considered to be female forms and deciders of night or RAtriniyAmaka forms. A thousand syllogistic clusters in Bruhatee Chandas is known as Bruhateesahasra.
    In Aitareyopanishat and Bhashya, it has been clearly mentioned that as many as seventy-two forms of the Lord are thee in Bruhateesahasra.
    Manner in which Shadrasa or six juices expand into eighteen juices or tastes/
    ಷಡ್ರಸಗಳು ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ರಸಗಳಾಗಿರುವ ಬಗೆ
     80.         ಆರು ಸತ್ವಾದಿಭೇದದಿ
                     ಆರು ಮೂರಾಗಿಹವು ಸಾರಾ-
                     ಸಾರ ನೀತಾಪ್ರಚುರ ಖಂಡಾತುಂಡ ಚಿತ್ಪ್ರಚುರ|
                     ಈರಧಿಕ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ
                     ಮಾರಮಣನ ರಸಾಖ್ಯರೂಪ ಶ-
                     ರೀರದೊಳು ಭೋಜ್ಯ ಸುಪದಾರ್ಥದಿ ತಿಳಿದು ಭುಂಜಿಪುದು||4||

                Aaru mUrAgihavu sArA-
                sAra neetAprachura KhanDAtunDa chitprachura|
                EeraDhika yeppattu sAvira
                mAramaNana rasAKhyarUpa sha-

    SUMMARY: These six Rasas or juices convert into eighteen types with the combinations in different ratio, where the vitality or inherent power of each component is mixed. In these eighteen forms or types, Lord Sri Hari lives in six forms namely sAra (concentrate), AsAra (zero concentrate), Neeta, prachura, KhanDa and AKhanDa. By thinking of Sri Hari to be present in seventy-two thousand forms in the body as well as eatables, one should consume the food.
    The six Rasas or juices comprise of six each in Satwik, Rajas and Tamas food varieties, which together become eighteen.
    Sara means the different forms of milk; AsAra signify grass and its varieties; Neeta are specific grains; Prachura means sugar, salt etc.; KhanDa exists in each grain of rice, separately and AKhanDa signifies the tastes present in all the eatables, put together.
