SUMMARY:
I seek eternal shelter of Lord Sri Narasihma, who is wearing the
Garland
of the intestines that came out of the belly of Hiranyakashipu that was cut
by the Lord;
who made Prahlada and the virtuous/good people happy; who is the storehouse of
fearful acts that frighten the wicked people; who has made the universe
(Brahmanda) reverberate the lion roar he produced and who possesses the new Vajrayudha-like
(thunderbolt) weapon.

When you tore apart the stomach of the demon with your
diamond-like strong nails, the blood that sprang from there has drenched your
entire body; Oh Lord, the beautiful with deep navel and attractive stomach! Lord Narasihma, I appeal
to you to destroy everything that is unpleasant, with your impregnable power.

SUMMARY: This Lord Narasihma is
wearing the form of a lion to state that he would always help the followers of
Madhwa philosophy in crushing the elephants of adamant mysticism with the bright
and shining weapon of Madhwa philosophy in the forest of family/worldly life. He
is also wearing the form of a man and be his close associate because the person
capable of crushing such an elephant happens to be a man. May such Lord
Narasihma protect us.
Sri
Vadirajaru has appealed to Lord Narasihma in this stanza to help fight against
Mysticism
and establish the philosophy of duality or Dwaitha.
