SUMMARY: The
Sun’s rays enter the different pearls without changing their real colors but
makes them appear like having different colors for those who see them; similarly,
Sri Hari, the beloved of Sri Lakshmi, remains within the three types of beings
in the three Lokas and roams about in their lives in accordance with their
capacity and the past deeds (Karma).
This
stanza once again clarifies and emphasizes the fact that there is no question
of discrimination on the part of Sri Hari. There is no difference in the Sun’s
rays that enters different pearls but the different arises only in the eyes of
onlookers of those who see them. The radiation that emanates from different
pearls appear differently to the people. The reason behind this phenomenon is
the stange composition of the pearls, their in-built shape and the way the Sun’s
rays spread out. Sri Hari is the motivator and the beings act according to their
inherent capacity, perception and the impact of their past deeds. Sri Hari does
not love anyone too much nor does he hate anyone. Emotional misgivings,
ambiguity in behavior, senseless sensibilities are determined by one’s own
Karma. Unless this “Truth” is realized, human beings cannot “correct”
themselves by offering prayers to the Lord and get rid of their fallacies.

SUMMARY: Discarding
the Water-clock cup that absorbs the water, Sri Hari pulls the rope to ring the
disc-bell (JagaTe). In other words, he is “doer”; he divides the Punya and Papa
(positive energy of good deeds and negative energy of bad deeds, which are
together known as Karma) between the groups of deities and demons, feeds them
their share and he remains the sole witness.
“GhaLigebaTTalu”
refers to the ancient chronometer by which the time was being calculated.
Bhagavata provides some evidence for the existence of such a device. Although
the device used to absorb the water, the sound of the disc-bell was being
employed to indicate the hours. Whoever commits the act, Sri Hari decides the
result of those acts as he is the sole motivator of acts as well as results.
After
the elixir emerged out of the Grand Churning of Mount Meru, it was Lord Hari
who distributed it according to the psychology of the recipients. The Minds of
demons were “corrupt” and hence they were denied a share in the elixir.
