SUMMARY: Like kindergarten children create houses in sand, happily play with it for a few moments and later trample it gleefully for fun, beloved of Sri Lakshmi, Sri Hari creates the Lokas in different ways and patterns; remaining totally unaffected or unrelated, he preserves and rears those Lokas; finally, like a snake, he will swallow them. Where is the question of happiness and melancholy to him?
The underlying statement of this stanza is that Sri Hari is literally ‘non-aligned’ with his own work. This reminds one of a poem titled “The Tiger” by William Blake in which the poet asks:

When the stars threw down their spears
And water'd heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?
The last word in this Blake’s stanza “thee” refers to the Tiger. The poet cleverly, regretfully, painfully questions the Lord whether he was the same person who created Lamb, the eternal prey, and the Tiger, the eternal butcher of the lamb.
What this explains and asserts is that for the Lord, creation, preservation and destruction are ‘fun’ and none can question his authority or activity. He is the only independent authority. He is without emotions, attachment, love, hatred and so on.

SUMMARY: Like a male actor who trans-locates the viewers into different worlds with his robes, attire, dialogue and actions, infallible/failsafe and unerring Hari makes every being happy through his vivid, vivacious forms, names, speech and by fulfilling their desires according to their merit. He preserves and rears them, each day and each moment. He is the epitome of purity and holiness. He is the epitome of bliss and embodiment of knowledge.
In a drama, the actor impresses every spectator with his action, dialogue and dress. He literally epitomizes the character on the stage. Once he descends from the stage, the actor is a common man like everyone else. He is not the same as the role he plays. He indulges in so many actions by displaying a variety of emotions like love, hatred, war, victory, joy, birth and death, misery and so on. Each and every action of the actor is loved by the audience/spectators. Similarly, for the knowledgeable, all actions the Lord displays through humanity are “fun”. Like an actor enjoys the actions and dialogues he presents in the role assigned to him, Sri Hari just enjoys whatever he does but remains calm, unaffected and non-aligned.

SUMMARY: Siddhapuri is a splendid place where Moksha or salvation for human beings is assured. Here, a drop of tear transformed into a large Pond of celestial brightness.

Siddhapura railway station is located between Mehasana and Aboo Road stations on the Ahmedabad-Delhi train route. Siddhapura town is just about a kilometer away from the railway station. Saraswati River flows very close to Siddhapura, where the Bindu Sarovar, which spans for nearly 40 sq. yards, can be seen. In Vana Parva in Mahabharata, this place has been identified as Dharmaranya. According to a legend, it is said that the Great Churning of Mount Meru in the cosmic ocean of milk by Deities and demons was taken up in this place. It was here that Goddess Lakshmi emerged and manifested here along with Sri Narayana. This is the reason for the place also being popular as Sri Kshetra.
On the banks of Saraswati, Kardama Prajapati, a Maharishi, had performed penance for a long period. Impressed with his penance, Lord Sri Narayana appeared and a few drops of tears dropped from his eyes. The Bindu Sarovar formed with those tear drops. Later, Swayambhuva Manu brought his daughter Devahuti to this place and got her married to Kardama Prajapati. The Ashram of Kardama and Devahuti can be seen here. Kapila, an incarnation of Lord Hari, was born to Devahuti and it was in this Ashram where Kapila Maharishi preached philosophy to his mother. It is said that Lord Parashurama got the sin of killing his mother by having bath and paying obeisance in this Pond. That is why,
this place is considered to be sacred for paying obeisance to deceased mothers. It is also known as Matru Gaya. Prayers offered here with a pure heart yield positive results in this place and for this reason, the place came to be known as Siddhapuri or Siddhapura. The water level here is very low. However, the water never gets contaminated.

SRI RAGHAVENDRA SWAMY’S SRI RAMACHARITRYA MANJARI (ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೆಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿರಚಿತ “ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಚಾರಿತ್ರ್ಯ ಮಂಜರಿ”)

SRI RAGHAVENDRA SWAMY’S
SRI RAMACHARITRYA MANJARI
(ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೆಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿರಚಿತ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಚಾರಿತ್ರ್ಯ ಮಂಜರಿ)

Within the stipulated period of seven days from the day of the orders issued by Sugreeva, all the chiefs of Monkey platoons arrived at Kishkindha. Angada, Neela, father of Tara Devi SuShena, Shatabali, Panasa, Kesari, Gaja, Gavaksha, Gavaya, Gandha Madana, Vrushabha, Shalabha, Mainda, Vividha, most intelligent and brother of Tara Devi Tara Dadhimukha, Kumuda, Dareemukha, Jambavan, Vinata, Rambha, Sampati, Vijaya, Vegadarshi, Mahahanu, Shararchi, Sharagulma, Sahotra, Ulkamukha and other commanders, heads of Bears and other animals assembled there along with crores of their battalions.

Sugreeva, along with Hanumantha and Lakshmana, came to the place where Srirama was waiting, saluted the latter and said: “Oh Srirama, kindly pardon me.” Srirama smiled and asked them to be seated.
Sugreeva requested Srirama: “Your Majesty, we are all your servants. Your tasks are our tasks. Please order us to do your work, which is our work and duty.” Srirama ordered Sugreeva to give the directions to his various heads of platoons.

As ordered by Srirama, Sugreeva told Monkey Chief named Vinata to search for Seetha Devi in the regions around the banks of Yamuna, Ganga, Sarayu, Kaushikee, Narmada, Shona, Uttarakaveri, Gomati, Purvasaraswati and other rivers, sub forests, Videha, Kashi, Kosala, Paundra and other countries, Mandara and other mountains and all those areas in the eastern part..
Sugreeva asked Hanumantha: “Oh Hanumantha, you are my friend, philosopher, minister, protector and master too. Angada and others will follow you from behind like Indra and other deities follow behind Sri Mukhyaprana. The entire task is now on your shoulder. Go to the residence of Ravana, find out the place where Seetha Devi has been hidden and return to Srirama. There is no bar for your, like Lord Vayu, to travel anywhere in the ten directions. You may search in the southern region comprising Vindhya and other mountains, banks of Narmada, Dakshinakaveri, Malaya Mountain where the Ashram of Agastya is located, the region surrounding Pulastyashram and other places.
Sugreeva turned to Sushena and said: “Dear father-in-law, you can search in the western direction consisting of Kashmeera, Gandhara and other countries, Chakraparvata and other mountains.”
Shatabali was told to search in the northern regions of Matsya Shurasena, Madra and other countries, Himalaya, Kalagiri, Bhrugutunda, Tamrataka, Sudarshana, Devagarbha, Kailasa, Trishikhara, Krauncha, Mainaka, Gandhamadana and other mountains.
Sugreeva finally asked everyone to return within a period of one month. “Whoever comes late will be sentenced to death. I will part with half of my kingdom to the one who finds Seetha and returns. Salute the Rishis and Munis you come across and enquire about Seetha Devi. You can enquire with anyone and everyone about Seetha Devi. Go across the seven islands, Jambudweepa, the seven seas and everywhere and return with positive information.”
After all the monkeys departed, except Hanumantha, Srirama specifically called him and said: “Oh Hanumantha, Except Sri Varaha, no one else can ever lift the Earth. Similarly, none else can do this job, except you. Go in the south direction, meet Seetha Devi. To make her believe you, hand over this ring that my father-in-law had given at the time of my wedding.” Srirama handed over the ring to Hanumantha.
All the monkeys departed and began the search. An important factor to be noticed in this regard is that none else, except Hanumantha, was capable of crossing the 100-Yojana wide sea to reach Lanka. Angada, Jambavantha and others, who were more powerful than all the monkeys, could not accomplish this task. Srirama was well aware that Seetha had been confined in Lanka, the kingdom of Ravana.
In Valmeeki Ramayana and other prominent versions of Ramayana, it is mentioned that the monkeys were ordered to search for Seetha Devi in four directions, whereas in Sriramacharithrya Manjari, Sri Raghavendra Swamy has mentioned that the monkeys were sent in ten directions.  This ambiguity can be resolved by stating that Sugreeva roughly divided his armed forces into four parts but ordered the monkeys to search in all ten directions. SUMMARY: Sri Poornaprajna saw in the sacred hermitage Adipurush Sri Narayan, who, with fabric attire, the tightly worn waist-band, shining matted hair, was dazzling like smokeless fire.
According to Puranas, the Narayana form of Vishnu was born to a son of Yamadharma from Murthi Devi, daughter of Daksha. This Narayana form is similar to the Vamana form in which the Lord appears as a young Brahmin boy having a tuft and wearing a Kaupeena, a piece of cloth to cover the secret organs.

SUMMARY: Sri Madhwacharya saw Lord Sri Narayana, who was living there eternally, practicing the toughest disciplines such as complete control over sensory organs, continuously performing penance, appearing very natural, undesiring, pure and always enjoying the most complete form of Narayana.
There is a mention in Bhagavata about the Narayana form of Lord Sri Hari, which was worn by Sri Hari for demonstrating to the universe the way a pure life should be lead and to lure the demons. Sri Hari lives in Narayana form in Badari.

SUMMARY: Is he not the same Sri Narayana, who is always sparkling with none except Sri Mahalakshmi, who is surrounded always by four-faced Lord Brahma, and rules over the fourteen Lokas and creates the Grand Deluge or Pralaya, at will!
Sri Madhwaru emphasizes that Narayana form in Badari is Sri Narayana in Vaikuntha and there is no difference between Sri Narayna of Vaikuntha, the overlord of the universe, and Sri Narayana form, which is reminiscent of the form of Vamana, in which the Lord is living in Badari. Sri Narayana in Badari is the Creator, Preserver and the Destroyer.

SUMMARY: The Gopichandana, which, when applied on the forehead, erases the different writings that Lord Brahma writes on the forehead, which, when lines are drawn on the forehead with Gopichandana in the form of Tilak, as a mark of decoration, make the person look like a scholar, the Gopichandana, which is applied as OorDhwapunDra, shows the way and the steps that lead up to Vaikkuntha, which removes three types of sins committed by the person wearing it on the forehead, is truly the most sacred.
Gopichandana is a clay available only in Dwaraka. It is applied by the followers of Sri Madhwacharyaru, who are known as Madhwas, and the followers of Dwaita philosophy or the philosophy of duality. Duality means there is difference between Atma and Paramatma or the Lord and the soul.
Gopichandana is available around Gopeesarovar and a place called Vasudevahrada in Dwaraka. It is also available at Gomati, which is about 13 miles away from Dwaraka, near Gopeetalab, where there is a temple of Sri Gopeenatha. Madhwas apply Gopichandana in a systematic manner.
This stanza confirms what is mentioned in Puranas as follows:
DwAravatyAm shuBhE ramyE vAsudEvahradE taThA|
TatrOdBhavAm mrudam shuBhrAm AadAya dwijasattamaha||
DhArayEdUrDhwapunDrANi sarvakAmaPhalAptayE|

Sri Vadirajaru has emphasized the significance of applying Gopichandana on the forehead, two shoulders, three each on the stomach and chest, four around the neck and one at the bottom of spinal cord on the back. The pattern may change slightly as per the tradition being followed.
